Available Apprenticeship Fields

You can apply for one of the following trade areas:

  • Mechanical Fitting
  • Plater Welding
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Instrumentation

Apprentices will undergo practical and theoretical training while being mentored by experienced professionals in one of South Africa’s most respected sugar mills.

Minimum Entry Requirements

To qualify, applicants must meet the following:

  • A Matric certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science, or an N4 qualification in the relevant trade
  • Basic experience in a factory, plant, or industrial environment is an added advantage
  • A good understanding of the chosen trade
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record
  • Computer literacy is essential
