Volkswagen Group South Africa has opened applications for its Experiential Trainee Programme 2026, offering TVET College students the opportunity to complete the practical workplace training required to obtain a National N Diploma.
This programme is designed for N6 graduates who still need hands-on experience to finalise their qualification. Successful candidates will receive structured, on-the-job training within Volkswagen’s Learning Academy in Kariega, with exposure aligned to their field of study.

About the Experiential Trainee Programme
The Experiential Trainee Programme is a structured workplace training opportunity for TVET students who have completed their N6 qualification and require practical experience to qualify for a National N Diploma.
Programme details:
- Duration: 18 months
- Start date: 01 March 2026
- End date: 31 August 2027
- Contract type: Fixed-term
- Training type: On-the-job experiential learning
The programme focuses on practical exposure in a professional corporate environment, helping trainees build real-world skills and workplace readiness.
Fields of Study Accepted
Applications are open to TVET students who have completed N6 in one of the following fields:
- Business Management N6
- Management Assistant N6
- Financial Management N6
- Human Resource Management N6
- Office Management N6
Applicants must still require practical training to obtain their National N Diploma.
Who Can Apply
To be considered, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must have completed an N6 certificate within the past three years
- Must still require experiential training to complete a National N Diploma
- Must be a TVET College student or recent N6 graduate
- Must reside in the Kariega or Gqeberha areas
- Must be a South African citizen
An added advantage:
- A valid Code 08 driver’s licence
