The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in partnership with MerSETA, invites South African students enrolled at Universities of Technology to apply for its 12-month Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme.
This opportunity is for students who require practical training to complete their National Diploma qualifications. Successful applicants will receive hands-on experience under the guidance of seasoned professionals in the science, engineering, and technology (SET) fields.

Who Can Apply
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be registered full-time at a University of Technology
- Have passed all academic subjects and be left only with practical training to complete their National Diploma
- Be studying in one of the approved fields listed below
