Anglo American’s Kumba Iron Ore division is offering a 36-39 month Engineering Learnership Programme to empower South African youth with hands-on training in the mining industry. Learners will gain real work experience at Kolomela and Sishen Mines while receiving accredited technical training.
This programme is ideal for applicants passionate about engineering, mining operations, and developing valuable trade skills.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be 18-35 years old
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate with required subjects (per trade)
- Have relevant N2 qualifications
- Be unemployed
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Pass a medical fitness test and RFA
- Provide proof of residence
- Live in areas surrounding Kolomela (Postmasburg) or Sishen (Kathu) mines
