Senior Process Controller Pumping (A1 Operator)

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)/ NQF 4 or N3 Certificate in Water and Wastewater Treatment
- Desired Qualification - National Diploma in Water Care/ Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years’ water purification Experience
- Computer literacy
- Class IV Process Controller Classification
- A valid driver’s license with the ability to pass Rand Water’s K53 driver test
- Basic Knowledge and application of ISO
- The critical functions will include:
- Starting and stopping of pumps, following the required operations procedure.
- Perform inspection for any leaks or other abnormalities.
- Monitoring of pump performance and taking daily readings
- Reporting defects on the plant on time to ensure maximum plant availability
- Ensure the working environment is safe and comply with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Ensure the ISO requirements are met and complied with at all times.
