Minimum Requirements

  • Essential Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in the Built Environment field of study (NQF L7) Certificate / Diploma in Project Management (NQF L6) Desired Qualification: Registration with SACPMP as a Professional Construction Manager Minimum Experience 5 years experience in Construction Supervisory Management 3 years experience in the water infrastructure construction

  • Responsible for managing all aspects related to infrastructure construction and rehabilitation for all projects executed by the Construction Services department of Rand Water.
  • Primary Duties Develop, implement and manage a construction execution plan for projects Plan and manage the assignment of different resources including construction teams, support specialists, contractors and other service providers to construction activities.
  • Monitor construction performance to ensure that the work is delivered within schedule, within costs and at the desired quality.
  • Review and approve performance reports for construction activities.
  • Consolidate and distribute internal and external reports pertaining to project status.
  • Monitor identified risks and direct mitigation efforts.
