Minimum Requirements

  • BCom degree or equivalent in finance or accounting.
  • 10 years’ Experience in an accounting/ financial environment with at least 5 years in management capacity
  • A management qualification will be an added advantage
  • Professional Certification (CA) (SA) or (CIMA) or (ACCA) will be an added advantage.
  • Computer literacy with extensive SAP experience
  • Inventory, Procurement and Accounts Management experience
  • Knowledge and Primary Duties Compiling and overseeing of the departmental annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial performance data and costs reporting and management.
  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve the department’s long-term objectives.
  • Departmental Assets, inventory, financial and procurement management
  • Providing meaningful and accurate feedback on budget variance reporting
  • Supervising and managing section employees.
  • Managing the Rand Water Main Store based at Central Depot
