- Supervise and coordinate artisans across shift operations
- Manage performance, attendance, and development of team members
- Coach and mentor staff to improve technical capability and reduce downtime
- Plan shift activities, leave rosters, and daily work allocation
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with maintenance standards
- Drive team engagement, safety culture, and company values
- Contribute to CAPEX, shutdown, and maintenance planning
- Develop and deliver training using SOPs, SMPs, and One-Point Lessons (OPLs)
- Support operational and maintenance skill development
- Drive continuous improvement culture and best practices
- Take accountability for priorities, deadlines, and performance
- Communicate effectively across departments
- Support team objectives and contribute to a high-performance culture
- Execute and oversee breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance
- Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using structured methodologies
- Improve plant reliability by analysing recurring failures and implementing corrective actions
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Why and Fishbone
- Identify engineering losses and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high equipment availability and reduced downtime
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve equipment failures to minimise production loss
- Proactively identify potential failures through routine inspections
- Provide technical support and solutions to production and engineering teams
- Coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance Planner and Lead
- Ensure availability of spares, tools, and materials before execution
- Participate in long-term engineering and reliability strategies
- Support commissioning and optimisation of new equipment
- Communicate maintenance risks and outstanding work orders with mitigation plans
- Ensure tools and maintenance equipment are safe, functional, and compliant
- Maintain accurate tool registers and report damages timeously
- Manage workshop, stores, and personal toolbox standards
- Uphold 5S housekeeping standards
