- The successful candidate will support the team in performing daily reconciliations, processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close activities. This role is well-suited to a recent graduate or someone who has recently completed or is currently completing their articles, and who is eager to build their career in a dynamic, fast-paced fintech and payments environment.
- 1. Reconciliations
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, payment partner accounts, and balance sheet accounts. Identify, investigate, and escalate reconciling items promptly to the Team Lead. Ensure no reconciling items remain unresolved beyond 48 hours.
- 2. Transaction Processing & Capturing
- Accurately capture and process financial transactions in SAP and other relevant systems. Ensure all entries are complete, correctly coded, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- 3. Month-End Close Support
- Assist the finance team with month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations. Support the team in meeting all month-end deadlines.
- 4. Financial Reporting Support
- Assist in compiling data and schedules required for monthly management accounts and financial reports. Ensure information provided is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- 5. Data Integrity & Quality Control
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial data entered into systems. Flag discrepancies or anomalies to the Team Lead immediately and assist with investigation and correction.
- 6. Ad Hoc Support
- Provide general finance support to the DCM team as required, including assistance with audits, projects, and any other tasks assigned by the Team Lead or Financial Manager.
