Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications
- 5+ years SAP basis
- across multiple SAP components (Post certification)
- 5+ years database management and administration
- Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, SAP ASE, DB2 and SAP HANA
- Knowledge of SAP ERP, BI, CRM, PO, Solution Manager, SCM, SMP, BPC, Fiori
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012-2022, Linux, Unix (including virtualization solutions: VMWare, Hyper-V)
- with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration and PO
- (advantageous)
- with Windows-SQL, SLES-HANA, Sybase and MAXDB
- in SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernel Administration and SAP HANA & S/4HANA
- Expert understanding of SAP Basis concepts and administration tasks
- Proficient in ITIL processes especially Incident, Service Request and Problem Management
- in disaster recovery management and planning and/or business continuity planning
- Knowledge of complex IT environments (technical, security, business)
- Knowledge of the relationship between applications, databases, operating systems, processing platforms, storage platforms, and networks
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies, platforms and services
- Knowledge of security administration
- Knowledge of backup administration
- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of IT Service management principles and frameworks (ITIL 3)

- 5+ years SAP basis experience across multiple SAP components (Post certification)
- 5+ years database management and administration experience
- with SAP Basis and NetWeaver Administration and PO Experience (advantageous)
- with AWS
- Some experience implementing back end software applications and security
- Some experience in related IT disciplines such as data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications and outsourced systems

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage backup and recovery procedures for SAP environments
- System Administration
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates as needed
- Perform system copies, refreshes, and client copies as part of system maintenance activities
- Perform system upgrades, enhancement pack installations, and SAP kernel patches
- Administer the SAP database in alignment with agreed standards to maximize system performance and availability
- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, and implement necessary security measures to protect SAP systems
- System Upgrades and Maintenance
- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, service pack installations, and enhancement pack upgrades
- Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule downtime and minimize impact on business operations during maintenance activities
- Backup and Recovery
- Perform regular system backups and recovery testing
- Ensure data integrity and availability
- Performance Tuning
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization
- Conduct regular system performance tuning and capacity planning
- Implement and manage SAP performance management tools
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference
- Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement
