Minimum Requirements

  • B Tech in Engineering at NQF 7 with 360 credits
  • Minimum of 7 years of Technical operations/maintenance/engineering experience.
  • Professional Registration Body: Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
  • Coaching and transfer of knowledge and skills
  • Knowledge of amended Electricity Regulation Act
  • Ability to advise, coach and transfer knowledge and skills
  • Critical analysis and evaluation skills

  • Business process analysis to identify inefficiencies e.g. structure; workflow analysis; business risks management; control strategies and bottleneck management in area of expertise
  • Transmission and/or Distribution network planning, asset management strategies, operations and maintenance processes
  • Knowledge of amended Electricity Regulation Act
  • Root cause analysis techniques
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to advise, coach and transfer knowledge and skills
  • Ability to research, analyse, summarise, interpret and benchmark subjects within area of expertise Presentation
