Minimum Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in Language Education, Linguistics or any relevant discipline
- At least three years
- in the field of writing
- Understanding of didactic and padagogic principles
- Good verbal and written
- in both English and IsiZulu
- Additional Recommendations
- Evidence of supervisory or management
- or performance development
- in dealing with undergraduate and postgraduate students

- The Writing Centre practitioners will among other
- designated to them by the Writing Centre manager be expected to
- Conduct one-on-one and online consultations with students
- Work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and levels of academic preparation
- Keep records for student visitations
- Assist in the recruitment of writing tutors
- Supervise writing tutors
- Popularize the agenda for the Writing Centre
