Minimum Requirements
- A Degree (NQF7 or Higher) in a field related to the role, such as Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Banking or a related field.
- Must be a registered or eligible Key Individual.
- RE1 and RE5 are required.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in banking or financial services, with strong exposure to Private Banking, client coverage, sales leadership and service delivery.
- Proven experience in leading teams, managing senior stakeholders and delivering financial and non-financial business outcomes.
- Strong experience in credit applications, credit arbitration, budgeting, forecasting, sales management, cost control and risk governance.
- Solid understanding of Private Banking products, client value propositions, portfolio management and the broader financial services environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the provincial execution of the Private Banking strategy, ensuring delivery against financial, client experience, growth and market share objectives.
- Drive collaboration across segments, products, corporate functions and business units to unlock ecosystem opportunities and deliver integrated client solutions.
- Oversee risk, governance, credit arbitration and compliance standards to ensure sustainable portfolio performance and effective risk mitigation.
- Monitor market, competitor and client trends to identify growth opportunities, strengthen the value proposition and improve provincial performance.
- Lead, coach and enable Private Banking teams across the province, ensuring strong people leadership, performance management and alignment to business priorities.
