Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering (B Tech) or relevant qualification
  • Three years post qualification Engineering Technologist experience required
  • Compulsory registration with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineering Technologist
  • A valid driving licence

Responsibilities

  • Provide technological advisory services: Support Engineers, Technicians and associates
  • Promote safety standards in line with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate existing technical manuals, standard drawings and procedures to incorporate new technology
  • Solve broadly defined technological challenges through application of proven techniques and procedures
  • Develop, maintain and manage current technologies
