Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher) in Human Resources/Industrial Psychology/ Public Management or related qualification
- A minimum of 3-years middle management experience in a human resource management environment
- Knowledge of the following : Working experience with the legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions
- Knowledge and understanding of information systems that aid in the management of knowledge and information pertaining to the line function
- Knowledge and understanding of project management. nowledge of operational management practices
- Knowledge and understanding of procurement and tendering processes
Responsibilities
- Manage the appointment of nominated candidates on PERSAL
- Oversee the administeration of contract appointments, extensions and developmental programme appointments (e.g. internships)
- Manage employee movements, including promotions, transfers, secondments and acting appointments
- Ensure accurate, compliant and timely processing of all appointment-related transactions
- Monitor high-volume appointment transactions and ensure adherence to turnaround times and prescripts
- Ensure adherence to approved turnaround times and service standards for all appointment transactions. Provide oversight and managent of Compensation Administration. Oversee Governance
