Gaming Technical and Floor Assistant Internship at Sun International

Sun International is offering an exciting opportunity for young South Africans to gain hands-on work experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. The Gaming Technical and Floor Assistant Internship is designed to train individuals in technical slot machine maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service on the gaming floor.
This program targets young people who are physically capable, eager to work shifts, and committed to learning the ins and outs of electronic gaming operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Gaming Technical Intern, your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the maintenance and cleaning of slot machine components
- Handling guest queries and offering excellent frontline service
- Ensuring that gaming equipment is operating to regulatory and company standards
- Physically relocating gaming machines when required
- Working in a smoking environment and on your feet for extended periods
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this internship, you must meet the following:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Natural Science or
N3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering - N6 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Completed)
- Valid South African ID
- Physically fit and able to handle technical tools
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Eligible to apply for a Gaming Licence
