Minimum requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3 to 5 years experience in a quality assurance or auditing role
- Experience in clothing manufacturing environment
- Experience conducting AQL inspections and compiling reports
- Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
- Basic computer literacy including Excel Word and Outlook
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle conflict situations
Key responsibilities
- Monitor quality of goods at CMTs and service providers
- Inspect processes including cutting printing embroidery pleating and finishing
- Liaise with design teams garment technologists and operations managers
- Compile AQL and S4 reports
- Report and track quality issues at factories
- Implement and monitor corrective action plans
- Provide mentoring and training for quality improvement
- Submit daily reports to head office
- Manage workload schedules and site visits
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
