Minimum Requirements

  • Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • 8-10 years advanced experience in originating and executing Real Estate Finance solutions
  • 8 - 10 years advanced experience acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite management and Boards of clients through the rendering of Real Estate Finance insights and solutions Advanced experience within the property sector
  • 8-10 years advanced experience in the development and implementation of learning and development initiatives including experience as a coach and mentor
  • 8-10 years in-depth knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory frameworks within Financial Services institutions, specifically Corporate & Investment Banking

Responsibilities

  • Lead deal negotiations for vanilla and structured Debt Solutions. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to complete all contracting requirements, deal commercial terms and closing processes to drive the realization of commercial targets, maximizing shareholder returns and growing IB revenue.
  • Conduct research and provide key insights for team members to utilize when setting criteria and defining the client segment in support of identifying and implementing continuous improvement and development initiatives.
  • Manage delivery against allocated deal revenue targets. Measure, monitor and report on financial performance for assigned portfolio of deals versus the budget.
  • Own and lead the conceptual design of REF financial models (e.g. valuations, financial, transactional) ensuring updates and adjustments are made, and test reliability and validity to effectively structure vanilla and structured Debt Solutions. Finalize supporting documentation (e.g. offering memorandums, engagement letters, term sheets, pricing supplements and legal agreements) to ensure solutions are aligned to the clients' needs and CIB commercial, risk and regulatory frameworks.
