Minimum Requirements
- Trade Certificate Electrical (Light Current/Heavy Current) at NQF4 with 120 credits
- 2 years NTCSA network and discipline related equipment (Lines and Servitudes)

Responsibilities
- Perform line inspections, servitude maintenance hardware defect repairs and operating
- Perform line fault investigations
- Assist in restoration operations during power line emergencies
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental policies
- Operate, inspect and maintain tools and equipment
- Enhance customer and stakeholder relations

- Level 3 line construction competency authorisation
- Area of specialization: To perform in a safe and effective manner power line inspections, servitude and line maintenance, including defect repairs and restoration tasks on transmission lines using approved tools, equipment, procedures and techniques to ensure optimal line performance and sustainable and continuous quality of supply.
