Minimum Requirements
- Information Technology or Computer Science
- Data Science / Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence / GenAI
- Business or Commerce (with strong quantitative, analytics, or technology focus)
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be under 30 years of age
- No more than two years’ work experience
- Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Interest in technology, data and financial decision-making
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new concepts and tools
Responsibilities
- Apply FinOps principles to support cost transparency, optimisation and value management across technology platforms
- Analyze cloud and technology usage data to identify trends, variances and optimisation opportunities
- Support the preparation of reports, dashboards and insights that enable data driven financial and operational decisions
- Work with engineering, finance, product and business teams to improve awareness and accountability of technology consumption
- Assist with usage and rate optimization activities across public cloud, data platforms, GenAI initiatives, and on-premises environments
- Use tools such as Power BI and cloud native services to visualize and interpret cost and usage data
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of FinOps processes, controls and practices, including automation and GenAI use cases
- Develop an understanding of how technology investment translates into business value
