Motus Daimler Trucks Rustenburg is looking for an experienced Sales Representative: Parts to join its Commercial Division. The successful candidate will focus on driving parts sales, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in line with dealer objectives.

About the Role

The Sales Representative will be responsible for maximizing parts sales opportunities through effective product knowledge, customer engagement, and efficient sales administration. The role includes managing stock, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring prompt delivery of orders to maintain customer trust and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales and grow the parts business to meet dealership targets.
  • Provide professional advice and solutions to customers.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.
  • Follow up with existing clients and pursue new business leads.
  • Monitor stock availability and coordinate timeous deliveries.
  • Negotiate pricing and ensure profitability.
  • Adhere to company policies, systems, and sales procedures.
  • Support the Parts Manager in administrative and reporting duties.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 essential.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in parts sales (automotive or truck industry).
  • Valid South African driver’s licence.
  • Computer literate (experience with Kerridge or EPC advantageous).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Product knowledge of Mercedes-Benz / Fuso parts preferred.
  • Customer-focused and target-driven personality.
