About the Role
The Health Merchandiser will ensure that Dis-Chem’s health products are well-displayed, promoted, and fully stocked. You’ll assist customers with product information, provide exceptional service, and support the store’s overall health and wellness offering. This position suits someone interested in vitamins, nutrition, and holistic well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist customers on health and supplement products.
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure shelves are well-stocked.
- Implement promotional displays and marketing materials.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to management.
- Support back-shop and administrative processes.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and promotions.
- Help achieve monthly sales and vendor targets.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 essential.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a health or supplement retail environment.
- Computer literacy (MS Office) and strong numerical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willing to work retail hours.
- Qualification in Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or related health field advantageous.
- Second language fluency is beneficial.
