The Mpumalanga College of Nursing is offering bursaries to students who reside within the Mpumalanga province, to pursue a 3-year Diploma in Nursing.
The bursary covers study fees at the college, and successful applicants will be required to sign a contract with the Mpumalanga Department of Health.
Upon graduation, students must serve an employment term with the department, equal to the duration of bursary funding received.

Requirements:
To be eligible for the bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between 18 and 36 years old
- Reside in the Mpumalanga province
- Intend to study towards a 3-year Nursing Diploma starting in 2025
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Qualify to study for a Diploma or Degree based on your Matric results
- Achieve the following minimum results in Matric:
- Mathematics: Level 3 (HG E / SG D) or Mathematical Literacy: Level 5
- Geography/Physical Science/Agriculture: Level 3 (HG E / SG D)
- Biology/Physiology/Life Sciences: Level 4 (HG D / SG C)
- English: Level 4 (HG D / SG C)
- Have an APS score of 23 for your six highest subjects (excluding Life Orientation)
- Applicants with disabilities will be considered based on the inherent requirements of nursing duties
