Capitec Bank invites motivated individuals to apply for the position of Service Consultant, available across multiple locations in the Western Cape, Mpumalanga, and Northern Cape. Purpose Statement

As a Service Consultant at Capitec Bank, your primary role will be to provide exceptional client service. You’ll support clients in managing their banking needs using Capitec’s Global One product offering, helping them to bank better and live better.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

3 to 6 months of client service experience in retail, financial, or banking sectors.
Alternatively, candidates with a relevant tertiary qualification will be considered even without prior experience.

Ideal Candidates:

More than 1 year of client service experience in a similar environment.
Proven experience in sales and client interaction.

Educational Requirements:

Minimum: Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.
Ideal or Preferred: A tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field, and certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge and Skills

Minimum Knowledge:

Basic calculations.
Retail/consumer service environment.

Ideal Knowledge:

Capitec Bank Products.
Internal business processes and procedures.
Organisational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy principles (BCGP).

Skills:

Strong communication skills.
Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
