PwC invites students to apply for its 2025 Bursary Programme, aimed at those pursuing a career as a Chartered Accountant (CA). The bursary supports students studying towards a SAICA-accredited degree at a SAICA-accredited institution.
The PwC Chartered Accounting (CA) training programme provides exposure to the business world, equipping candidates with the skills needed to succeed.
Bursary Coverage:
The bursary is awarded based on academic performance and financial need. It offers:
- Academic Achievement Award: Fixed amount covering tuition fees and a book allowance.
- Tuition and/or Accommodation Bursary: Percentage-based coverage (20% to 100%) for tuition fees, book allowance, and potentially accommodation and a once-off living allowance for students with significant financial need.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- South African citizen
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric with university acceptance
- Intend on studying full-time towards a SAICA-accredited degree
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a SAICA-accredited institution
- Must intend to become a Chartered Accountant
- Achieved a minimum “B” symbol for Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy) in Matric
- Achieved a minimum “B” symbol for English (first or second language) in Matric
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in Matric
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 70% if currently in your 1st or 2nd year of study
- Achieved a minimum overall average of 65% if currently in your 3rd or 4th year of study
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
