AVBOB invites applications from suitably qualified and unemployed South African youth to participate in the Long Term Insurance Unemployed Learnership Programme.

This structured work-based learning programme combines theoretical learning through an accredited training provider with practical experience in the workplace. Successful completion leads to a registered qualification.

Key Details:

  • Monthly Stipend: Learners will receive a monthly allowance for the duration of the learnership.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
  • Must have completed English and (Mathematics or Maths Literacy or Accounting) as Matric subjects.
  • Age must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • No previous learnerships should have been attended.
  • Must not be registered with another academic institution or engaged in any other studies.
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation.
  • Having a smartphone or laptop is advantageous.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, and Internet) are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
