Purpose:
This programme offers a structured three-year training contract where trainees will be exposed to various key learning areas. The focus is on developing Professional Values, Attitudes, and Acumen (PVAA), necessary for building a career as a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
Salary:
R444,036 per annum (all-inclusive)
Requirements:
To qualify for the CA Trainee Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or an equivalent qualification that meets SAICA requirements to write the Initial Test of Competence (ITC) in January 2025.
- Candidates currently completing their CTA or in their final year of an equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply.
Duties:
- Trainees will be placed in various National Treasury units, where they will develop competencies across key learning areas related to the Chartered Accountancy profession.
