Siemens is offering an exciting opportunity for South African graduates to join the Customer Service Engineer Trainee programme.
This traineeship is designed to equip graduates with the necessary skills and experience to succeed in technical roles, particularly within the Cape Town/Port Elizabeth regions, though support in other areas may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Perform technical tasks such as installation, commissioning, maintenance, and evaluation of customer equipment and systems under supervision.
- Remote and Onsite Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd level user support, both remotely and onsite, in case of any issues.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of internal tools, equipment, processes, and data repositories.
- Project Support: Assist in technical tasks related to project acquisition, negotiation, planning, and management.
- Service Offerings Development: Participate in technical design and development for service offerings, manage sub-contractors, and monitor delivery.
- Performance Optimization: Support all service processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency in all related activities.
- Training: Engage in training courses, including self-study, computer courses, and on-the-job training, to enhance skills and knowledge within the Customer Service Team.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties that align with the responsibilities of a Customer Service Engineer.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Clinical Engineering.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license. Owning a vehicle is advantageous.
- Work Availability: Ability to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays.
- Skills and Attributes: High performer, analytical thinker, strong verbal communication skills.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African Citizen, preferably from a designated diversity group.
