The National School of the Arts is offering a four-month internship for arts-leaning graduates as part of the Presidential Economic Stimulus Programme. This opportunity is designed to empower young individuals and provide them with practical experience in their field of specialization.

Duration: December 2024 to March 2025
Stipend: R5,700.00 per month
Purpose of the Programme
The internship aims to involve graduates in activities related to their specialization within four departments: Art, Dance, Drama, and Music. Interns will assist with preparations for the new academic year and support the arrival of new learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in arts administration and support for creative programs.
- Work on an installation, production, or exhibition during the internship.
- Assist with research on the history of the National School of the Arts.
- Curate a gallery showcasing alumni luminaries across various disciplines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age.
- Must hold a Degree, Diploma, or Advanced Certificate at NQF Level 6.
- Open to graduates from various arts disciplines.
