Petroleum Agency SA, a subsidiary of CEF SOC Limited, is offering a two-year MQA-funded internship programme for three unemployed graduates, set to begin in February 2025. This opportunity will provide practical experience and professional development in the petroleum sector, in line with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) criteria.
Graduate Positions and Qualifications:
- Intern: Technical Compliance (Engineering)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering
- Internship Focus: Drilling operations, well design, production processes, rights/permits evaluation, and MPRDA compliance.
- Intern: Licensing and Legal
- Qualification: LLB Degree
- Internship Focus: Legal processes in petroleum rights, drafting legal notices, legal research, and compliance documents.
- Intern: Company Secretary
- Qualification: LLB or BCom (CGISA qualification is an added advantage)
- Internship Focus: Corporate governance, compliance, secretariat tasks, and CIPC regulations.
Internship Requirements:
- South African citizen
- Graduate-level qualifications
- No prior MQA internship participation
- No work experience required
