Position Title: Human Resources Intern
Reference No: HR Intern:01
Duration: 12 months contract
Key Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Intern, you will be involved in a range of HR activities including:
- Preparing contract renewals, transfer/increase/promotion/retirement/change in working conditions letters, maternity leave agreements, and certificates of service.
- Collating all relevant month-end input for HR and Payroll, such as timesheets and starter packs.
- Maintaining HR databases, spreadsheets, and records to ensure data integrity.
- Keeping personnel files updated for information availability and audit purposes.
- Processing employee terminations, including resignations and end-of-contracts.
- Assisting HR Officers with recruitment activities such as screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and conducting qualification and reference checks.
- Preparing regret letters for short-listed candidates.
- Assisting with post-probation interviews and ensuring probation appraisals are completed.
- Generating all required HR administration within deadlines.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources.
- Experience in a Human Resources Generalist role is advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and work within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication, planning, and organizing skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of customer service orientation and adaptability in a changing environment.
