Chommies Digital Marketing and E-commerce Graduate Internship Programme 2025
Chommies, in partnership with MANCOSA, is offering an exciting internship opportunity for a young digital mind who wants to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing and e-commerce. This program is ideal for a student looking to complete their work-integrated learning or practical module.
As a Digital Marketing and E-commerce Intern, you’ll be working closely with the Head of E-commerce to support the Chommies online store, customer experience strategies, and various marketing campaigns.
You’ll gain mentorship, technical skills, and hands-on experience that will shape your future in digital marketing.
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Stipend: Market Related
Closing Date: 24 April 2025
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with updating and maintaining the online store
- Support day-to-day e-commerce operations and admin
- Help plan, execute, and schedule digital marketing campaigns (email, paid ads)
- Organise customer data for email marketing and CRM systems
- Ensure product listings are up-to-date and visually appealing
- Assist in tracking performance data and reporting
- Contribute to improving online sales and customer journey strategies
- Stay curious, engaged, and ready to learn
Minimum Requirements
- Currently studying towards a qualification in digital marketing, advertising, e-commerce, or a related field
- Must be completing an internship module or course practical
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, online platforms, and digital tools
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Must be able to work on-site at the Chommies office in Cape Town
