As part of this hands-on programme, you’ll work with top-tier clients, including C-suite executives, and help organisations tackle their most pressing challenges in remuneration strategy, ESG-linked pay, and fair compensation practices.

Minimum Requirements

To apply, you must meet the following:

  • South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Completed BCom, BSc, or similar degree (Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, HR Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Organised, proactive, and client-focused
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Advantage If You Have:

  • Experience in remuneration, performance management, or data analytics
  • Advanced Excel or data modelling proficiency
  • Familiarity with HR tech, reward platforms, or analytics tools

As part of the PwC Reward Academy, you’ll develop into a trusted advisor for high-level clients across multiple industries. You’ll gain real-world consulting experience and receive mentorship from the best in the business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting and analysing market remuneration data
  • Benchmarking executive and non-executive pay
  • Building financial and remuneration models for compensation decisions
  • Designing reward structures aligned with company strategy, regulation, and ESG goals

  • Supporting client proposals, thought leadership, and industry events
