AIMS Google DeepMind Scholarship for 2025

The African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) is offering theย AIMS Google DeepMind Scholarshipย for the 2025 academic year.

This scholarship is part of a fully residential one-year taught master’s program with a research component, focusing on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and science.

About the Scholarship

The program aims to empower young African scholars by providing world-class education in AI and Machine Learning. It is designed to nurture future AI experts across Africa through a partnership with Google DeepMind.

Eligibility Requirements:

To apply:

  1. Be an African citizen residing anywhere in Africa at the time of application.
  2. Have completed a four-year undergraduate degree or a three-year undergraduate degree plus an honors year by August 2025 (December 2025 for Southern Africans).
  3. Hold an undergraduate degree in fields like Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics.
  4. Enroll in a Masterโ€™s degree program without prior AIMS scholarships.
