Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this opportunity, you must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be enrolled at a South African university
- Be entering the final year of a 3-year degree OR third year of a 4-year degree in 2026
- Plan to study Honours (NQF Level 8) in 2027
- Not be pursuing or registered for a Master’s degree
- Have achieved a minimum average of 65%
- Be passionate about software development and the Amazon work culture
- Be available to start full-time work with Amazon in January 2028, if offered a position

About the Internship
As part of the bursary, you’ll take part in a paid summer internship at Amazon. Here’s what to expect:

- Evaluation for a permanent SDE position post-graduation
What Are the Obligations?
- You must complete the summer internship at Amazon
- If offered a permanent position, you must be willing to work at Amazon for the same number of years as you received funding
