The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) is recruiting graduates for its 2025 Corporate Affairs Graduate In Training Programme.

The programme supports PRASAโ€™s transformation and skills development goals by offering exposure to strategic communications, brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and administrative functions in a large public-sector environment.

Closing Date: 19 May 2025


What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

As a Graduate In Training, you’ll be assigned to the Group Corporate Affairs division, where you’ll gain practical experience in the areas of branding, communication, content development, and client engagement.

Key Focus Areas

  • Assist in building brand awareness and visibility across PRASA platforms
  • Write and research articles for internal and external communication
  • Provide graphic design support for PRASA’s digital and web platforms
  • Support communication efforts that improve customer retention
  • Contribute to revenue generation initiatives through marketing support

Who Can Apply?

Minimum Qualifications

National Diploma or B Degree in one of the following:

  • Graphic Design
  • Marketing
  • Public Administration (Affairs)
  • Journalism
  • Copywriting

Experience Requirements

  • No experience required for diploma holders
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo a selection process

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Understanding of administrative procedures and record-keeping
