Who Should Apply?

This internship is perfect for unemployed South African youth who meet the following criteria:

South African citizen aged 18 to 35
Completed an IT Diploma or Degree
Not currently employed
No previous participation in a YES programme
Passionate about starting a career in cybersecurity

Minimum Requirements

Completed qualification in Information Technology (Diploma or Degree)
At least 50% in Pure Mathematics and English in Matric
Studied Physical Science in high school (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Cybersecurity team, you will:

Perform daily health checks for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems
Manage user lifecycles: creation, modification, deletion of accounts
Conduct monthly access reviews to ensure only necessary permissions are active
Assist with access remediation to align with least privilege principles
