Workshop Assistant at Unitrans

The Phenduka Transit System depot is looking for a Workshop Assistant to support qualified artisans in vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist artisans by supplying tools and cleaning components.
• Participate in servicing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading vehicles and components.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification: Grade 12.
• Transport: Own transport to and from work.
• License: Minimum Code 08 Driver’s License.
• Background: Preferably a mechanical background or experience.
• Work Schedule: Willingness to work irregular hours, weekends, public holidays, and overtime on short notice.
• Health: Must be physically healthy.
